Sanan’s subsidiary Lightera Corporation acquisition of Luminus Devices

In 4th June 2013 evening, San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. announce that the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Lightera Corporation fund $ 22 million make an acquisition that 100% equity interest of U.S. Luminus Devices, Inc., in accordance with the current exchange rate, the amount of investment over hundred million RMB.

Sanan Optoelectronics, said the investment will not only help to further enhance the company’s core technologies and channels in LED epitaxy and chip, but also more conducive to further increase the company’s overall industrial layout.

Announcement shows that Luminus Devices, Inc. registered in Delaware of United States, and hold Taiwan Luminus Optical Co., Ltd. 100% equity through a subsidiary indirectly. The company’s main business is the development and production LED for high brightness lighting equipment, it owned 93 patents in the world. These patents cover all aspects in systems and applications such as the LED product design, manufacturing solutions and package. The main products include: White LED, Color LED, four-color LED and UV LED.

It is reported that the major customers of Luminus Devices include LG, Acer, Zumtobel, U.S. EYE Lighting, Philips, Denmark Martin, Germany Vialux and other international applications manufacturers.

By December 31, 2012, the total assets of Luminus Devices is $ 11,909,900, total liabilities $ 17,479,000. And the annual revenue in 2012 is $ 17,189,700, net profit of $ 3,196,900.
